Where are the definitions that are used in FIDES?

Hi all,

It is getting more and more frustrating going through the FIDES guide to classify electronic components. For example, Items covered | FIDES references Low current wirewound inductors and High current (or power) wirewound inductors,  yet never clarifies what is low and what is high. Is there a definitions guide where I can see what they mean when they use terms like 'low' 'high' etc.?

Hello,

Currently, you are correct, there are no specific criteria in the guide. It is left to the discretion of reliability experts, depending on the electrical current. It is possible to find information on the manufacturer's website or in the datasheets. Generally, there is a limit of 1A, but without references.
