Dear all,
first of all, thank you for providing and maintaining the FIDES tool and its related documentation.
I would like to ask whether a more recent version of the FIDES tool is available. From the Download section, the latest version I can find appears to be dated 2009A.
While using the tool, I noticed a potential inconsistency between the documentation and the Excel template generated by the tool. In particular, when trying to add one of my components, an FPGA with 1517 pins. realized that it is not possible to select this device (or an equivalent pin-count range) from the drop-down menu.
By checking the FIDES user guide PDF, I noticed that several components and/or pin-count ranges are listed there, but they do not seem to be available in the corresponding drop-down menus of the generated Excel template (please consider the following screenshot as an example).
Could you please clarify:
whether a newer version of the tool exists that addresses this mismatch, and/or
whether there is a recommended workaround to handle components (such as high-pin-count FPGAs) that are not selectable in the current menus?
Thank you in advance for your support and for any clarification you can provide.
Best regards,
Antonino

Hello Antonino,
To answer quickly to one question, a new tool is now available for FIDES 2022 version here : https://www.fides-reliability.org/en/node/1259
This version is marked as beta, but it is a working version.

Laurent
