Use of FIDES tool with components up to 150ºC

Dear all,

our customer requests to use the FIDES tool to be used for evaluation of the failure rate and further integration in FMEDA.

However, during some part of its life, the part will be submitted to temperatures up to 150ºC.

In the FIDES, there is  a clear indication that the "The reliability prediction is applicable only in the range for which the component is qualified. The theoretical temperature range for which the FIDES Guide is applicable is: -55°C ≤ Tambient ≤ +125°C."

The components are qualified up to 150ºC. But will the model work or do we have a risk of errors? Or are we obliged to performed the failure rate with another model, catalog?

Best regards,

Siska
