Anyone else here noticed FIDES 2009 is very conservative with solid electrolyte tantalum capacitors?
I'm getting really high FITS for solid tantalum, sometimes more than 10times higher than what MIL-HDBK 217F gives, for example.
Could it be FIDES 2009 is too penalizing for solid tantalum? Or does it give more realistic prediction figures (closer to life data)? Anyone here got any experience or advice?
