1- Preamble

The aim of this license is to lay down the conditions enabling the use and distribution of the software “FIDES LAB” developed at IMdR, the French Risk Management Institute.
2- Object and conditions of the SOFTWARE license

a) Grant of License. IMdR, as Licensor, grants the User the non-exclusive right to use the Software free of charge and without counterpart, except commercial restrictions (see note e) in as many copies subject to the same terms and conditions as he wants.
b) Ownership of Software. Licensor retain all rights to the Software for all configurations and systems on which it is installed
c) Modification restriction. This Software .is copyrighted. Any unauthorized modifying of the Software, including addition, deletion of all or part of Software or merging with other software is expressively forbidden. The User may be held legally responsible for any copyright infringement that is caused or encouraged by your failure to abide by the terms of this License.d) Distribution. The redistribution of the Software by user is authorized on condition that it is free of charge and without changes, provided restriction of point “c) Modification restriction” are met.e) Commercial restrictions. Any commercial distribution of the Software or of a modified release of the Software is not allowed.
f)Update policy. IMdR shall not be bound by any obligation for updates or corrections or evolution of the software. However, IMdR will do best efforts to release updates with corrections or evolutions and make them available to the community of Users through update releases.
g) Users are invited to escalate the issues or mistakes identified when using the software in order to improve it.
3- Disclaimer of Warranty - Responsibility

The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Further, IMdR does not warrant, guarantee, or make any representations regarding the use, or the results of the use of the Software in terms of correctness, accuracy, reliability or otherwise. The entire risk as to the result and performance of the Software is assumed by the User, and not IMdR.
The use of the SOFTWARE is done under the whole responsibility of the user.
4- Consent

5- Binding effect

The present license and its effects are subject to French law and the competent French courts.
