Shunt SMD: which resistor model to use.

Hello

Which model should I use for a 4 terminal SMD shunt 2mOhm 7W 1% 50ppm from Isabellenhuette type BVB.

For me it seems a bit curious to select type [ECRE_08], i.e. precision metallic film engraved SMD <10kOhms, or [ECRE_08] Fix High Power.

Thank you for your answer.

Can you detail the technology used?

technology is a plained flat piece of IsaOhm metallic alloy between the copper pins.

IsaOhm alloy is mainly Nickel and Chromium.

If I understand well the component is a mere shaped piece of metal. The failure rate should be very, very low. For reliability prediction the component is probably only worth counting the connexions. Therefore I suggest to model it with the best reliability resistor (s), just be sure to have the right number of connexions.
