We have identified potential unclarity in FIDES 2022 Guide.
H&M Active Micro on Bare Chip has a difference with FIDES 2009 Guide. The 'Active Microcircuit Type' field no longer (in 2022) has the 'IGBT' or 'Silicon MOS transistor > 5W' types, because in FIDES 2022, these types moved from Discrete Semiconductor to Discrete Power Semiconductor.
Then Discrete Power Semiconductor is not mentioned in the definition "For the values of 0THλ , refer to the basic failure rate associated with the chip for integrated circuits or discrete semiconductor”.
Basically the definition above is the same as in FIDES 2009 while in FIDES 2022 are now two categories of Discrete Semiconductors: Discrete Semiconductors and Discrete Power Semiconductors.
Can you share with us how what was the intention to handle Discrete Power Semiconductor in H&M Active Micro on Bare Chip? Now IGBT is not part of H&M Active Micro on Bare Chip or it should be?
We will appreciate any guidance.
