Connector - temperature rise

Dear Everybody,

I try to define the "insert temperature rise" for the connectors. The formula is simple, Delta T = a * Icontact1.85.
But to determine "a", we need the gauge, or the section in square millimeters. I have got a connector, who are a half pair soldered on a printed circuit, and the other half pair soldered on an another printed circuit. And in this case, we have not got the gauge. When can I calculate the temparature rise.

Regards.

Integrated circuit

Dear everybody,

When I try to complete the sheet "Input - component", there is an input data named "rise to temperature". And for the integrated circuit, I don′t know how I can calculate this data. There is nothing on the data sheet which allow me to complete it. Where can I find a data, or any other data? Is it an important data for the result?

Thank you very much for you help.

Varnish & Humidity

Hello,

I have got 2 questions for you today !

My electronic board is varnished to protect it against humidity. The varnish cover all the component too, except the connectors. Is it already taken into account in the FIDES guide, or is there a way to model it ?

I would like to know the raisons of PIRH = 0 while the component is up (operating). I don′t clearly understand this point.

Thank for your support.

EMI suppression filter

Hello,

I want to model 2 EMI suppression filter.
As they don′t have a standard package, I′m wondering how to model them.
Either break them down into simple elements (inductor, capacitor, resistor) or approximate them with another component.
Here they are :

Inductive coil 32Khz/433mhz

Hi !

from the list of coponents that´s in Fides program, I can not find a match for a a inductive coil that´s solded on the PCB for LF/HF transmission reception range of 32 K to 433Mhz. Our coponent works with a standard 3V cell battery.

There is most probably a paliative family that´s close to it. I assumed it was like a low current wirewound inductor. Does it make sense ?

Thanks for your support.

Composants magnétiques: limites courants et puissances

Bonjour,

Questions :

1/ Peut-on découper un schéma électronique en plusieurs phases?
